World Tree Presents: BattleTech Grinder

The second World Tree BattleTech Grinder is this Saturday, the 19th of April starting at 2pm, until only one Mech Warrior stands, or 7pm. There have been some slight changes made for the sake of time.

  1. We will continue to use Alpha Strike Rules.
  2. When rolling for your mech, two d6 will be rolled of different colors. White to determine which mech, and the second color determines low or high (1-3 low and 4-6 high), so if the mech corrosponding to the number rolled on the white die is taken you will get the next highest, or lowest mech according to the second die.
  3. All damage will be rolled at once. Hit or miss.
  4. Map is hex, all ranges are divided by 2, that equals the number of hexes (movement and firing range)

Each player is assigned a random mech and a random section of the map to deploy their mech. Once the battle begins, it is a free-for-all. If your mech is destroyed you will move to a Round II mech, rolling 2d6 (see rule update 2.) This continues until reaching the final round of mechs and only one mech warrior is left on the map (or the clock strikes 7pm). Winner is determined by points accrued for mechs destroyed.

Base rules allow for 6 entrants, if there are 7, or 8 the last two to register will enter the map after the first mech is destroyed.

Entry for the event is $15.
