It is with a heavy heart I have to announce the passing of a beloved World Tree family member, Pam “Tiny Grammy” Thomas passed away last night after a hard fought battle with cancer. Some of the my long time customers will remember when the shop first opened, it never would have happened without Ben and Val, who were able to help because Tiny Grammy watched their kids. She was one of the most loving kindest people I knew (unless you crossed her). Tiny Grammy, Little Pam, Momma Pam, and I am sure she had a hundred different names will be greatly missed.
I do not remember when I first met Pam Thomas, I just kind of have always known her. I remember when Ben was a baby, and I remember when Matt was born. I always loved going to a party at their house, or at the Martinics because Pam and Dave would almost always be there. Pam was everyone’s second mother. As a right of passage all of the kids would inch up to Pam to see when exactly they were taller than an adult.
